Honey Teriyaki Beef and Asparagus

  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1/2 lb beef tenderloin, cubed
  • 1/4 tsp each salt, freshly ground pepper and hot pepper flakes
  • 1 bunch (about 1 lb) asparagus, trimmed and chopped
  • 1 orange, cut into half moon slices
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp freshly grated ginger
  • 1/4 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 2 tsp rice vinegar
  • 1 sachet (140 mL) Blue Dragon Honey Teriyaki Stir Fry Sauce
  • 1 bundle Blue Dragon Soba Noodles 
  • 1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds


  1. Heat the oil in a wok or large sauté pan and set over high heat. Season beef with salt, pepper and hot pepper flakes. Add to pan and stir fry for 2 to 3 minutes until browned and still pink inside. Transfer to plate.
  2. Add asparagus, orange slices, garlic, and ginger; stir fry for 2 to 3 minutes or until tender crisp. Add orange juice, rice vinegar and Blue Dragon Honey Teriyaki Stir Fry Sauce to the wok; return beef to wok and cook until heated through.
  3. Serve with Blue Dragon Soba Noodles. Garnish with sesame seeds.


For extra kick, use Blue Dragon Szechuan Pepper Stir Fry Sauce.
